I talked to him yesterday and found out that on the way home from the airport in the stop and go traffic they were in a car accident. I was told it wasn't bad, just a bumper bump, and KK wasn't hurt at all, he was in his car seat. But it was still a little scary for me to hear. KK was in a car accident during Easter weekend and now he was in another. 2 accidents in one year and it wasn't while I was driving and he rides with me the most! I know it wasn't their fault at all, I was just a little nervous when I heard about the accident, but I am so grateful that everyone was alright.
Today when I talked with him, he was eating all of their fruit in the house, watching a movie, and playing with his second cousins. He's been having so much fun. He doesn't seem like he is missing me too much, which is a good thing. I think these next 6 days will go by fast. I was told that they might try to go to Reno tomorrow to see some more of the family. He'll have a lot of fun. I just can't wait until he comes back...I miss him lots.
1) I am so glad that his paternal grandparents still want to so much be a part of his life! That's wonderful!
ReplyDelete2) HOW SCARY! I'm so glad he's ok and that it wasn't serious, I always get a little nervous.
3) I'm glad he's having fun and that it gives you a little bit of a break. Its good he doesn't act like he's missing you now, but he'll show you how much he DID miss you when he gets home.
LOVE YA girl!
glad he is having fun. enjoy the little break as much as you can. i know what it's like to be worried though... we're going on a cruise in november and caylee is going to be with "strangers" the whole time (not really strangers, but my mother-in-law, who she hasn't seen since she was a couple months old, and a friend of my sister's who she doesn't really know). I'll be a nutcase, but I know they are in good hands. At least she'll have Ryan who remembers his grandma. That should help. It's hard though... let me know how it goes so you can give me good encouraging words in a few weeks!
